These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the BEECamp.org website (“Website”), operated by Building Education for Energy, Inc., a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware (“BEE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with offices in Virginia and Ohio.
By accessing or using this Website, creating an account, participating in competitions or programs, submitting content, or making donations, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use this Website.

1. PURPOSE AND ACCEPTANCE
This Website is maintained to promote education, awareness, and participation in nuclear energy workforce development and related educational programs. Your access to and use of this Website is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
BEE reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
2.1 Account Creation – Users may create accounts to access newsletters, competitions, programs, or community features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2.2 Parental Consent – Users under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to create an account or participate in any BEE program or competition. Users under 13 are not permitted to submit personal information under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
2.3 Termination – BEE reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts, restrict access, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
3. USER CONDUCT
By using this Website, you agree not to:

4.2 No Compensation – You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation or credit other than potential recognition within BEE programming or competitions.
4.3 User Responsibility – You warrant that you own or have lawful rights to any materials submitted and that your Submissions do not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 BEE Property – All content on BEECamp.org—including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and audio—is the intellectual property of Building Education for Energy, Inc. or its licensors and is protected under U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws.
5.2 Trademarks – The names and logos “Building Education for Energy,” “BEE,” “The Atomic BEE,” and related marks are trademarks or service marks owned by BEE. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
5.3 License for Personal Use – You may access and use the Website solely for noncommercial, educational, or informational purposes. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
6. DONATIONS AND PAYMENTS
6.1 Donations made through the Website are voluntary and may be processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). BEE does not store payment information.
6.2 All donations are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
6.3 Donors will receive confirmation and acknowledgment in accordance with applicable nonprofit regulations and IRS guidelines.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Delaware.

COMPETITION TERMS ADDENDUM
A. Eligibility
Competitions are open to individuals who meet eligibility criteria specified in each competition announcement. Minors must have verified parental or guardian consent to participate.
B. Submission Guidelines
Participants may submit essays, artwork, videos, or other content. Submissions must be original and not infringe upon third-party rights.
C. Intellectual Property
By entering, participants grant BEE a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute entries for educational and promotional purposes.
D. Selection and Awards
Winners are selected at BEE’s sole discretion by appointed judges or partners. Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
E. Disqualification
BEE reserves the right to disqualify any participant for misconduct, rule violation, or inappropriate content.
F. Liability Release
Participants release BEE, its affiliates, directors, officers, and partners from any liability, loss, or damage arising from participation or use of prizes.
G. Publicity
By participating, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and submission for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
